An improved, user-friendly website (www.pga.info) fit for the modern day professional with improved navigation, updated content and fully mobile responsive launches next week (Monday February 17).
The redesigned site will provide PGA Members and visitors with an improved user experience and intuitive platform. The highlight in the first phase of development will be a revamped ‘Members Area’ with updated content and readily accessible information around career development, jobs, and member benefits.
The new website also provides clear and concise information about The PGA brand – who we are, what we do and how we work. As one of the most recognisable brands in sport, it is essential for The PGA to present information about its brand, services and the important role of the PGA Professional through an accessible website which can be viewed on all platforms and devices.
Features include a responsive display for easy mobile navigation, an improved layout and improved overall usability. The website will also improve performance metrics, including the time it takes to load different pages and the amount of people visiting the new website, allowing visitors to delve deeper into the content.
The new digital platform will also increase referral traffic from social media platforms, which can help generate more exposure for The PGA and its 8,000 Members, while growing traffic to the new website.
The launch is the first of a series of phases as we look to continually progress and improve the new website. The second phase of the launch later this year involves the introduction of the upgraded ‘Find a Pro’ feature that will provide a valuable resource both for amateurs searching for tuition and Members looking to promote their services. A detailed review of the Members Area, including further content development, will also form part of the second phase of development.
In addition, a bespoke CPD platform will be added which will include improved resources for PGA Members, online development and rich resources covering all aspects of the golf industry.
The new PGA website will be launched on Monday, February 17. This coming week members will receive individual emails outlining changes to the log in process.
