Westcoast Pro-Am open to all

The Westcoast Pro-Am at Bearwood Lakes takes prime position again on the PGA South’s Tournament Schedule on Wednesday 17 July and team entries are now open to all PGA Professionals with their own teams, writes Charles Dehaan.

Director of Golf Jon Dry commented: “The Pro-Am is always a great way for us to showcase everything that Bearwood Lakes has to offer, from course to clubhouse, and with the support of Westcoast, Tag Heuer, Mizuno and the many professional and amateur players who come to compete, I’m delighted that it’s become THE Pro-Am on the PGA South schedule.”

A total prize fund of £20,000 is on offer again with £10,000 going to the lowest professional score on the day. Besides the professional’s prize fund, team prizes for the winning amateurs are equally impressive, thanks to the support of Mizuno and Tag Heuer.

The Top 100 course is set in 200 acres of prime Berkshire woodland and is maintained to the highest standards; Bearwood Lakes is now rated as the best inland course to be built in the last 30 years.

Then there’s the wonderful clubhouse, providing stylish and very comfortable interiors combined with a terrific reputation for service and catering. So even if your score doesn’t get into the frame, you and your team will enjoy what many now consider to be one of the best days of golf you can have anywhere.
