PGA Conference heading to Vietnam

 

The 2020 PGA Members’ International Conference is heading to one of the fastest growing golf nations in the world – Vietnam.

The stunning Laguna Lang Co resort will host the fourth annual education and networking Conference, which is set to attract PGA Members and delegates from Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

There are more than 50 courses open for play in Vietnam, and according to The R&A’s ‘Golf Around the World Report 2019’, Vietnam has emerged as one of the fastest growing Asian golf destination.

The contemporary Laguna Lang Co resort offers unrivalled beach views of the East Sea and draws its inspiration from the rich culture and heritage of Vietnam. It also boasts an 18-hole award-winning championship course designed by Sir Nick Faldo, his second design in Vietnam.

It is the first time the PGA Members’ International Conference will be staged outside Thailand following three successful years at the Laguna Phuket Resort.

“The Conference provides PGA Members and golf industry executives from across the world with an educational platform to share their thoughts and learn from some of the most respected peers in the golf industry.”

The 2019 PGA Members’ International Conference attracted more than 45 delegates from 16 countries around the world.

Following feedback from attendees, this year’s Conference has been moved forward by a couple of weeks and will take place from October 25-28, 2020. It will once again comprise of a variety of education seminars with expert speakers providing engaging sessions on topics designed to assist delegates in their business and career.

“I found the 2019 PGA Members’ International Conference to be very good both in terms of the programme and participants that attended,” said Dominic Wall, Director – Asia Pacific, who presented at the 2019 Conference.

“Participants included senior management from many of the leading golf clubs throughout Asia which enhanced both the quality of presentations and discussion of various matters.”
