Applications are now invited from clubs keen to inspire a new generation of girl golfers.
The programme is now in its fifth year and has helped introduce more than 5,000 girls to the game of golf – inspiring new recruits to enjoy themselves in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
Has your club been involved with Girls Golf Rocks in previous years? Do you want to take part again in 2020? Is it time to climb on board the Girls Golf Rocks bandwagon?

The online closing date for applications is 8 January, 2020. All successful clubs will be informed w/c 10 February, 2020.
In 2020, there is scope for up to 200 facilities across all counties to get involved in the biggest girls’ coaching programme in the country.
England Golf and the Golf Foundation have joined forces once again to set up the initiative and will provide marketing tools, resources and coach-funding for clubs eager to take part.
The emphasis on the lessons is for the girls to learn the fundamentals of the game, have fun with their mates in a comfortable and relaxed setting without too much emphasis on the coaching and competitive elements of the game.
The lessons will take the girls through all the basics of golf culminating in a final session on the course where they can put into practise all they have learned from their PGA-qualified coach.
Your club must be willing to stage two six-week blocks of coaching for beginner girls predominantly (but not exclusively) in the 7-14 age bracket.
Coaching blocks can be held on any dates convenient to clubs between May and October 2020.
Clubs may also stage taster sessions ahead of any coaching block – however this is at the discretion and expense of each club.
Qualified PGA professionals will be at the heart of the delivery of the programme. For more details on the Girls Golf Rocks programme for 2020 please go to www.girlsgolfrocks.org
