Delivering excellent customer service will a be a topic of debate for Matt Roberts from PGA Partners The 59 Club after he was confirmed as another keynote speaker for the eagerly anticipated third PGA Conference next month.
Roberts is a 59 Club director and the company’s area manager for the Midlands, Europe and the UAE. His career has evolved around customer service and improving the overall experience for visitors at golf facilities.
The focus of Robert’s presentation will be the ‘delivery of seamless service’ and ‘engagement skills which create opportunity’, focussing primarily on how to deliver excellent customer service at a golf club or coaching facility. He will share key customer engagement tactics and measures to maximise additional spend.
Matthew Davies, PGA Regional Manager (International), commented: “I am delighted that Matt will be with us in Phuket this year to present on behalf of 59 Club.
“Matt and 59 Club have extensive experience and knowledge in improving the service levels at golf facilities across the world and I am sure those PGA Members in attendance will take some very useful information and ideas away from Matt’s presentation.
“This year we will again deliver another excellent programme that will provide valuable educational and networking opportunities for our Members.”
The third staging of the PGA Conference returns to Laguna Phuket, the first PGA-branded facility in Thailand, from November 10-13.
Other confirmed speakers include Dominic Wall of the R&A and director – Asia Pacific, Gareth Knight, regional manager for The Toro Company and Mike Orloff, managing director at Golf Industry Central.
