PGA coaches deliver free coaching sessions during Women’s British Open

 

A team of 15 PGA Professionals delivered hundreds of free golf lessons at the AIG Women’s British Open.

Based in the ‘Golf Zone’ which formed part of the spectator village at Woburn Golf Club, the team were on hand to provide lessons to members of the public across five days.

Jonathan Wright, The PGA’s Golf Development Director, commented: “This was another fantastic opportunity for The PGA to demonstrate and showcase the fantastic work of its PGA Professionals.

“We had 15 coaches providing free lessons to people of all ages, ability and gender in the Golf Zone, which proved to be a real hub of activity and excitement throughout the week at Woburn Golf Club.”

“The PGA’s We Love Golf campaign was also in full flow, just like it was at The Open Championship at Royal Portush just a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic to see so many females take up an opportunity to enjoy golf for the first time.”
